Smyths Toys' SAP ERP system is integrated with ZetesAthena. When a customer places an online order and chooses Click & Collect, the transaction is immediately recorded in SAP. A new sales order is created, with detailed instructions about the item, a collection time, and a suggested location within the store. This is then transmitted in less than 50 seconds to mobile devices at the relevant store.

Information Of Smyths Pre-Orders Service
The pre-order of Smyths allows you to order any item now and receive your item when it is in stock. You don’t have to pay upfront or deposit online. The selected payment method will be pre-authorized 2 - 7 days before the item is available. Pre-orders for Xbox All Access are not included (XAA). You will receive your item on or before the Release Date or within the 'back in stock' period as specified on our website.
Smyths Pre-Orders Prices
You will pay the lower price if our price on the date of pickup or shipping is less than the price at the time of placing your order, as part of the Smyths Toys pre-order price guarantee. If you utilized a money-off voucher when placing your order, you will only receive one of the two benefits: our pre-order price guarantee or the money-off voucher.
Smyths Pre-Orders Term And Conditions
- After you place your order, you will receive an email with your pre-order details.
- You will not be charged for your order until it is dispatched (home delivery orders) or collected (click & collect orders).
- If the stores are unable to pre-authorize your card for any reason, you will receive an email from Smyths requesting that you re-enter your card information. To guarantee your order, you must complete this within 24 hours of receiving the email.
- As part of the Smyths Toys pre-order price guarantee, you will pay the lower price if Smyths' price on the date of collection or dispatch is less than the price at the time of placing your order. If you used a money-off voucher when placing your order, you will only receive the benefit of our pre-order price guarantee or the money-off voucher, not both. Payment will be charged 2 to 7 days before your item is ready for pickup.
- If your pre-authorization is successful, Smyths will deliver or have your orders ready for collection (click and collect orders).
- You will be notified via email once your pre-ordered items have been shipped (home delivery orders) or are ready for pickup at your preferred store (click & collect orders).
- Smyths' contract with you for pre-order items does not become effective until the date of despatch or collection.
- When the home delivery option is selected, pre-ordered items are shipped separately from any other items you have pre-ordered as well as any other items you have purchased.
- Smyths Toys cannot be held responsible for deferrals or delays in official launch dates; while Smyhts stores accurately indicate restock / back-in-stock dates for pre-ordered items, these dates may change due to circumstances beyond our control.
- In the case of pre-orders that include exclusive early content, you will not be able to cancel the order once you have received the early content.
Manage Your Pre-Orders At Smyths
As usual, customers have an account to purchase online at Smyth’s websites. You can track your pre-order directly after logging in to your account. However, in case you pre-order any item at Smyths and you haven’t had an account of Smyths, the stores will send you an email to track your order. So you need to enter your email address at “Manage Pre-Orders” on the online websites.
Sometimes, unluckily, the customers who pre-order at Smyths encounter some problems with their orders because of the click and collect service. Pre-orders were only available online, either through home delivery or click-and-collect. Many people attempting to pre-order were met with either a site timeout error or their orders taking so long that their sales basket was empty by the time they reached the checkout stage, indicating that Smyths Toys' website was overloaded with orders. This is a result of the new lockdown rules that slow down the process of delivering.
Anyway, the spokesman of Smyths said that stores will use click and collect from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday, and regular opening hours on weekends. The delivery will be held for two days at the outlets, and customers can have someone else pick it up on their behalf.
