Types Of IKEA Duvets
Polyester Comforters
This fabric has good durability, is easy to wash, is resistant to bacteria and mold, and is cheap. However, compared to cotton fabric, it is far behind. You can see that for clothes with 100% polyester material, the fabric often has a tendency to static electricity, causing your hair, arms, legs, etc. to stand up. If touched by others, the fabric may cause static electric shocks. To eliminate this problem, polyester is often blended with other fibers, typically cotton (Polyester Cotton).
Besides, the polyester fabric can bring you a quite hot feeling and does not absorb sweat well, so it is not popular on summer days. You can feel that it is not really comfortable when using this kind of duvet. However, with such an affordable price, you can try and feel it. These polyester comforters often come with beautiful designs and patterns.
Down & Feather Duvets
This duvet is softer, warmer, and lighter, so it is a great choice for everyone. You know, how comfortable it is to lie on a blanket as soft and light as a feather. The more down in the quilt, the softer, warmer, and lighter it is, while feathers wick moisture away to keep you dry. IKEA down and feather duvets are machine washable, and there are several different temperature levels to select from.
Weighted Blankets
A weighted blanket applies deep, consistent pressure to your body, allowing you to relax and unwind while also improving your sleep. It feels like you're being held and has a soothing, cocooning effect. It is suitable if the weather is cold in the winter or you sleep in the air-conditioner room.

How To Put On An IKEA Duvet Cover?
Many people get problems when putting the duvet into the cover and they wonder why it doesn’t fit with each other. Beds and bedding from IKEA do not fit conventional European dimensions. Only the IKEA pillows are regular European (not UK) sizes (65 cm x 65 cm).
Step 1: Tape the corners with twill tape. To fit in the corner of your duvet, cut the twill tape to the desired length.
Step 2: Cut twill tape to fit the interior of the duvet cover and pin it in place. Invert your duvet cover to reveal the inside.
Step 3: Inside the duvet cover, sew twill tape.
Step 4: Make a right-side-out turn.
Step 5: Tie everything together.
