What Is The West Midland Safari Park?
The Safari Park - an award-winning attraction- was launched in spring 1973 under the name of West Midland in Bewdley in Worcestershire, England. The park contains more than 165 exotic animal species, including a small theme park. The park consists of the largest groups of white lions, ghettos, hippopotami, and meerkats in the UK and also the largest display on the Lemur walking trail. The African big five game creatures were the first Park in the UK.

The park opens at 10:00 and closes at 17:30. The tours at the theme park close to the African village at 5:00 pm. The last time you enter the park and drive through the safari is at 15:00.

Children under 3 are free to attend, but they have to either have a wristband or ride tickets if they are large enough for the rides. These are not available for online purchases for children under the age of 3 and are available on-site only after the height of the kid has been verified. Not everything is on the regular ticket for entrance, since the adventure theme park requires you to pay extra for rides. But that's a surcharge for the only section of the park. You have to buy a wristband to go on the rides.
