Woburn Safari Park is a safari park located in Woburn, Bedfordshire, England. Tourists can come here to enjoy exhibits, that include species such as southern white rhino, elephants, tigers, and black bears. It is a portion of the estates of the Duke of Bedford including Woburn Abbey and its 3000-acre deer park. The Safari Park is 360 acres.
Woburn Safari Park is a part of the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria.
Woburn Safari Park was founded to help improve the financial situation of the estate and recover the Abbey, which had fallen into disrepair due to the second world war and relatively high post-war tax rates.

The Road Safari is divided into many parts which keep many species of animal, and tourists can drive around all five sections. The Northern Plains include Chapman's zebra, North American Bison, Przewalksi's horses, and Bactrian camels. When you reach the ticket lanes at the entrance to the Park, you will see these animals. Another part of this road safari is the Savannah Grasslands with Southern White Rhino, Eland, Ankole cattle, Dwarf forest buffaloes, Ostrich, Grevy's zebra, Brindled Wildebeest, and Sable antelopes. Visitors also love the Kingdom of the Carnivores with Amur Tiger, North American black bears, Canadian timber wolves, and African lions. As the weather gets warmer, you can visit Giraffe Junction with Rothschild's giraffes, Grevy's zebras, Scimitar Horned oryxes, Somali wild asses, and Addax. The last section is the African Forest - the home of Barbary Macaques and Eastern Mountain Bongo.
Foot Safari
The Foot Safari is also what people really enjoy at Woburn Safari Park because this is home to many smaller animals such as Slender Tailed Meerkats, African Crested Porcupine, Asian Short Clawed Otters, four species of lemur which include Ring Tailed Lemurs, Black and White Ruffled Lemurs, Red Bellied Lemurs and Red Fronted Lemurs, along with many other species.
